New-Gen Pistachio Ranch Branding and Identity Solution

New-Gen is a vertically integrated agricultural operation with a number of pistachio ranches (or orchards) in the southwest United States, including one of the worlds largest located in San Simon, Arizona. In conjunction with their farming and production cooperatives, New-Gen is a premier distributor of nuts globally.

Nex-Gen’s six partner ranches all had different (or no) visual identities. To solve this problem, New-Gen turned to Bark at the Moon to develop an identity solution that would provide a cohesive brand for their many orchards. The goal was to develop a strong visual mark based on the following criteria.

  • A visual of a pistachio
  • A split shell with nut a inside (uniquely pistachio)
  • A visual representation of Arizona or the southwest US
  • Earth, Sky, and Mountains

Once the New-Gen visual identity was developed, two branded PowerPoint presentations were created for use at investor presentations.
