When a local police department in Richfield, Ohio approached Bark at the Moon Graphics to assist with the design of fleet graphics for new cruisers, the answer was an easy yes. This project was about more than design. It was about respect, service, and honoring those who dedicate their lives to protecting their communities.
Inspired by the legacy of a highly decorated officer who served Northeast Ohio for more than four decades, our creative director chose to donate the creative development time as a tribute to a lifetime of public service. The final design was developed collaboratively with department leadership to ensure it reflected both tradition and pride.
The graphics feature a stylized eagle representing truth, courage, and freedom, paired with a thin blue line symbolizing solidarity and commitment among officers. Every element was designed with intention, balancing visual impact with meaning and respect.
Once the new vehicles arrive, the graphics will be installed and put into service. It’s a small way to say thank you to those who serve and a reminder that design can carry purpose beyond aesthetics.
